Dr. Arda Arısan graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Dentistry in 2011. In 2012, he ranked 6th nationwide in the Turkish National Specialization Examination in Dentistry (DUS), a highly competitive exam for postgraduate dental specialization. He subsequently pursued a 5-year postgraduate program in orthodontics at Hacettepe University, Department of Orthodontics, and completed his specialty training and master’s degree in 2017 with a thesis on customized self-ligating lingual orthodontics.
Throughout his academic and professional development, Dr. Arısan has consistently focused on advanced orthodontic systems, particularly lingual and clear aligner techniques. In 2013, he completed the Hands-on Self-ligating Lingual Orthodontics course by Dr. Paolo Manzo in Italy and became a certified HARMONY system user. The same year, he received certification in the eCligner clear aligner system under Prof. TaeWeon Kim.
In 2014, he expanded his orthodontic training by attending Aesthetics – The Ultimate Challenge in Orthodontics in London and completing the Mixed Dentition Treatment course by Dr. Jorge Ayala. He became an INCOGNITO Lingual Orthodontic System user after completing hands-on training in Istanbul. He also attended the 90th Congress of the European Orthodontic Society in Warsaw and participated in Dr. Richard P. McLaughlin’s seminar on Diagnosis, Treatment Planning and Treatment Mechanics. That year, he completed the DAMON system course led by Dr. Dimitris Mavreas.
In 2016, he attended the FACE (Functional and Cosmetic Excellence) Meeting in Madrid, focusing on the latest developments in FACE treatment mechanics. In 2017, he became a certified Invisalign provider following formal clinical training.
In 2021, Dr. Arısan completed the WIN Lingual Systems certification, one of the most advanced and customized lingual orthodontic techniques available. He further advanced his expertise in May 2025 by completing the WIN V-SL (Vertical Slot Ligating) Online Certification Course, instructed by Dr. Dirk Wiechmann, and earned 3 CPD credits in accordance with BZÄK and DGZMK guidelines.
